Why should I waste my interesting time alone on the weekends and join?
We reckon that you must be crazy not too!! If you've been here for any amount of time you must realize that Saudi is a family oriented place that can get boring and downright depressing for people especialy singles if you follow the work-home-work philosophy. The adventure club gives you the opportunity to meet other young people who want to make the most of being here in the magic kingdom!

How much does it cost?
We reckon you're all making good money if you're here in Saudi and you should share the wealth!!  still there is no membership fee for joining and participating in JAC, it's just pay your own way as we go... if an activity costs something it will be clear from the beginning... usually on our hikes or camps we split the cost of main food and gas. Boat trips are by person. it just depends on what we are doing... we do expect our members to be active in organizing and leading activities.

Can anyone organize an activity?
We reckon that we ain't tour operators or reincarnated slaves and would rather sit back and enjoy things sometimes! Yes we encourage others to take an active part in organizing trips and things to do. Just email us to discuss how you can help. You can also send us activity ideas to add to club emails.

What if I don't have transportation?
We reckon that the Saudi's won't let women drive for a reason!!! all kidding aside, not all of our trips are outside Jeddah. Most of the places offroad need a 4x4 to get to. some of us with SUVs have extra space so if you want to join a offroad activity we will get you in touch with other people that are going and try to work something out. It really depends on how many people are going, how many cars we can find and how much space is available. by being an active member you will know more people and always have a ride...

Can women join?
We reckon that though Saudi ain't a free country there's ways around that! Yes you can join but we will have to be a little discrete with activities that include women. that said, this hasn't stopped ladies from getting out and visiting places of the beaten track... we always run into other expat groups with women on our hikes... we just need to plan it right...

Is the club a good way to hook up with single people?
We reckon that "adventure club" ain't another word for "dating site"! hey there are more then enough parties going on that you can go to and hook up with some girls or guys. JAC is a place to make new friends while keeping busy with interesting activities. we would like to keep it that way...

Can I join if I am Local?
We reckon that it's your country, you let us in so we'll return the favor and let you guys in! It would be great to have some locals along. sadly many expats don't really get to know many local people and the club might be a great opportunity to learn more about the local culture and people. That said, we only are looking for polite, English speaking, open minded people that want to be a part of a group.  

What's the official club language?
We reckon that you're in Saudi so you should learn some Arabic! Although a little bit of the local language is nice to know if you live here, most people prefer to stick with English. We will occasionally have locals with us but they usually speak great English...

During activities will I be expected to actually work?
We reckon that "organizer" ain't another word for "your mama"! We expect everyone to pitch in and help set up when we get somewhere and clean up when we leave. if you have a problem helping out then this isn't the right club for you...

Can I bring Booze or drugs along on trips?
We reckon that "adventure club" ain't another word for "bar" or "crackhouse"! hey if you guys want to drink and get high it's your business but we want to try to respect the local culture when we're out and limit the possibilities of getting caught...

Is it possible to be kicked out of the club?
We reckon that jerks deserve what they get! We are a well mannered, open minded group of people and really don't want to be associated with people that go out of their way to act selfish, mean, self centered, easily offended, harassing... if you're one of the before mentioned types, just save everyone a lot of time and heartache and don't join.
